Oscillation criteria for two-dimensional difference systems of first order linear difference equations
Sufficient conditions are established for the oscillation of the linear two-dimensional difference system ∆xn = pn yn, ∆yn−1 = −qnxn, n ∈ N (n0) = {n0, n0 + 1, . . .}, where {pn}, {qn} are nonnegative real sequences. Our results extend the results in the literature. c © 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

−q(t)f 2 (x(τ 2 (t))). We obtain sufficient conditions for all solutions of the system to be oscillatory. Our oscillation results when a(t) = 0 improve the oscillation results for dynamic systems on time scales that have been established by Fu and Lin (2010), since our results do not restrict to the case where f(u) = u. Also, as a special case when T = R, our results do not require a n to be a ...
متن کاملDynamics of a family of two-dimensional difference systems
The boundedness and global asymptotic behavior of positive solutions of the nonlinear two-dimensional difference systems xn 1⁄4 Uðxn t1 ; yn s1 Þ; yn 1⁄4 Wðyn s2 ; xn t2 Þ, where t1; s1; s2; t2 are all positive integers, are investigated. Some sufficient conditions are established such that the positive solutions converge to the unique equilibrium. Finally, some examples are given to illustrate...
متن کاملOscillation Theorems for Symplectic Difference Systems
We consider symplectic difference systems involving a spectral parameter, together with the Dirichlet boundary conditions. The main result of the paper is a discrete version of the so-called oscillation theorem which relates the number of finite eigenvalues less than a given number to the number of focal points of the principal solution of the symplectic system. In two recent papers the same pr...
